Boasting a long tradition of teaching and research in meteorology and climatology, the Department of Astronomy and Meteorology of the University of Barcelona offers this official master's degree in Meteorology, adapted to the European Space of Higher Education.

Objectives:

• To provide theoretical and practical training in meteorology to students who wish to begin a professional career in a meteorological/forecasting/environmental institution or in a private company working in the weather business.

• To provide a fundamental background to students who wish to carry out a research career in atmospheric sciences and applied meteorology.
