The University of Barcelona (UB) is organizing for the third time- a short film contest so that training researchers present their researches to the audience. This initiative seeks films that show and tell the research these UB training researchers are carrying out.
This activity wants to bring people closer to the research carried out at the University of Barcelona. Furthermore, it wants to give visibility to PhD students being the research engine of the University, through an agile and visual channel. This initiative also wants to enable young researchers to communicate their projects and therefore, discover new disseminating potentials.
There will be three prizes. Each of the three winners will be given an iPad Air 2 (16 G Wifi, or equivalent), a personal and free registration to any of the intensive language courses organized by the School of Modern Languages (EIM) in their 2017 summer offering and a pack of official merchandise products of the University of Barcelona.
The contest, named after the Catalan astronomer Josep Comas i Solà, is jointly organized by the Doctoral School and the Scientific Culture and Innovation Unit (UCC+i) of the University of Barcelona.
